Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes the information or personal data that we collect from our clients, employees and potential employees and outlines how we use it and the circumstances under which we disclose it.  Our use of information will at all times be in accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations).

“Data Controller”

The Moores Orthopaedic Clinic Ltd is, for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018, the Data Controller.

Information

We will collect and process information provided by you from the forms that we ask you to complete on paper or electronically, or over the telephone.  This information may include your address, contact details, credit card details etc.  We also collect information such as IP addresses from computers used to access our website.

If you apply for a job with us we will require professional information about you such as your curriculum vitae and details from your job application.  Information may be held at our clinic or by third-party agencies or service providers.

Disclosure of Information

Your personal information is restricted to those who have a genuine business need to know it.  We have appropriate security measures in place to prevent personal information being lost, used or accessed in any unauthorised way. 

We never sell or transfer personal information to others however in order to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations we may share it with government, judicial, or fraud prevention agencies.

Your Rights

You have the right to ask us to provide you with a copy of all the information that we hold about you.  You also have the right to have any incorrect information corrected, as well as the right to ask us to remove all the information that we hold about you and we will endeavour to do so promptly.

If you have any concerns we ask that you contact us in the first instance, and you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioners Office too (ico.org.uk, or telephone 0303 123 1113).

Retention

We will take reasonable steps to retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary or as required by law.
