Moores Soft Tissue

Moores Soft Tissue is a peripatetic (mobile) Specialist Soft Tissue Surgery service for cats and dogs. Moores Soft Tissue is run by Alison Moores, a highly experienced EBVS and RCVS recognised Specialist soft tissue surgeon. Pets requiring soft tissue surgery can now benefit from Alison’s expertise in their own first-opinion vet practice. Alison is also able to provide her expertise at The Moores Orthopaedic Clinic and this can be particularly helpful If your first-opinion practice is unable to host Alison or if a patient would benefit from advanced imaging or over-night care which your local practice may not have.

Please direct all enquiries to Alison. You can call her on 07356 132400 or email alison@moores.vet

FAQs

Is Moores Soft Tissue an expansion of The Moores Orthopaedic Clinic?

No, the two companies remain separate from one another. Moores Soft Tissue was founded and is managed by Alison Moores BVSc(Hons) CertSAS DipECVS FRCVS.

Moores Orthopaedic Clinic (MOC) and Moores Soft Tissue (MST) are two separate businesses with their own booking systems, staff and invoicing system. The only cross over is the use of the excellent facilities at the Moores Orthopaedic Clinic by Moores Soft Tissue for cases that would benefit from them.

Who are Moores Soft Tissue?

Moores Soft Tissue is a new independent soft tissue surgery peripatetic service in the south of England founded by Alison Moores BVSc(Hons) CertSAS DipECVS FRCVS.

Alison and her team will provide specialist surgery at reasonable prices either at referring vets’ practices or at the Moores Orthopaedic Clinic.

What does Moores Soft Tissue offer?

Without costly overheads, Moores Soft Tissue can offer specialist surgeries at reasonable prices. It will provide all surgical equipment and consumables so referring clinics need only provide anaesthesia and aftercare. Alison and her team will draw on their substantial experience in all aspects of soft tissue surgery and be able to provide airway, head and neck, thoracic, abdominal, gastrointestinal, urinary, reproductive, skin, reconstructive and oncological surgery.

The team at Moores Soft Tissue consists of two Specialist surgeons with no residents or interns. Referring vets have the opportunity to scrub in, providing a valuable learning opportunity.

Alison and her team offer free, no-obligation case advice. No surgery is too simple, and for complex surgeries which may not be suitable in all clinics and those requiring advanced imaging, she may advise the use of facilities at the Moores Orthopaedic Clinic.
